"Szaleńcy" is a story of two young men (Andrzej Nejman, Dariusz Majchrzak) who run away from a psychiatric hospital because they have an important mission to perform. On their way they meet different people who involve them in their personal matters. The confrontation with "real life" is not easy for them. It quickly turns out that our heroes are "the most normal" people in the area ...

Paweł Wendorff's film is only a comedy. It is a story of honesty, friendship and modernity, and under the gags, absurdity and surrealistic humor there is a deeper message that the madmen are often not those who are considered for them.
