PHOTON is a kind of summary of human knowledge about life and evolution. It visualizes what we know today about the process of matter formation. This is not a strictly scientific or film film, but the original, interesting in the form of a fabulous, dynamic presentation of scientific theories about the functioning of the universe.
The first part of the film deals with the formation of matter, stars and planets. An extremely visually realistic story is presented here by the narrator: a character acting as an interpretive character of the Nobel laureate Richard Feynman and prominent Polish psychiatrist, Antoni Kępiński. On the screen we see the role of Andrzej Chiry.
In the second part the narrator explains what we know today (and what we do not know) about the origin of life. How have complex molecular systems formed? With a few examples taken from the everyday life of an average family, we learn the biological basis of emotions, the sources of violence and alcoholism, the nature of the so-called. free will. In the film we will see a cross-section of the brain at the time of making a simple, routine decision. In the light of recent scientific research, the question arises: do we really decide anything? Such matters, directly related to all people, are illustrated by the example of one day from the life of Wojciech and his wife, Emilia.
In the last act of the film, the future is shown in the form of a television program watched by the said marriage. Predictions are based on current trends in futurology. The Internet is gradually evolving towards a specific form of artificial intelligence, perhaps even consciousness. While Emily and Wojciech fall asleep in front of the screen, the film goes on, boldly predicting further merging of man with technology. Narration is a very realistic "shots" of future databases, future cities. We see not only the famous sci-fi movies, but also smaller urban areas. How might Płock or Lublin look for 500 years? In further predictions, the film shows surprising architectural solutions and self-replicating machines.
What will be the end of the universe?

Film religijny. Wybitny. Synteza nauki i sztuki. Widziałem 2 razy, ale pierwszy raz w kinie Muranow w Warszawie i był powalający. Drugi raz w Krakowie w sali kameralnej kina Kijów: niestety żenująco niski poziom projekcji. Fatalny dźwięk, nieostry obraz... to trzeba oglądać na dobrym sprzęcie!!! Najlepszy film 2017 roku!!!

Lubię kina studyjne- tam bowiem można zobaczyc cos naprawde wartościowego- coś co nie ściaga tłumów, a daje pole do refleksji... Tym razem moje ulubione kino Mikro rozczarowało mnie do bólu! Wiedziona pozytywnymi opiniami kupiłam bilet i moja strata.

Autor traktuje widza z góry i wprowadza w narracji irytujące infantylne elementy. Ten sam film z narracją w stylu dokumentów Herzoga to byłoby 10/10.
