A shocking vision of Poland. In this alternative, dystopian reality, there is a peculiar game under the watchful eye of the closed housing estate. We observe a world where weapons are legal, cartridges can be bought at a gas station, and people's lives are governed by the absolute blood code. Two girls are embroiled in settlements between neighboring families. Is it possible to reject the rules that govern the all-encompassing culture of revenge, full of violence and terror?

"Eastern" received three awards at the 38th Youth and Film Festival in Koszalin: for Maja Pankiewicz for her acting discovery, for the Pro8l3m band for the best music, as well as the Journalists' Award for, among others "Breaking the convention, constantly surprising the viewer and two girl figures that could envy Marvel's productions." The film is the feature debut of Piotr Adamski, who is both a film director and a visual artist.
